WASHINGTON – The Maryland Lottery is looking for three winners from weekend drawings, including the owner of a $1 million Powerball ticket.
The Powerball ticket was purchased at John Elmwood Tavern, 4423 Kenwood Ave., in Baltimore. The $130 million jackpot ticket was sold in New York and four other second-tier ticketholders were also $1 million-winners, according to the lottery.
The retailer will receive a $2,500 bonus for selling a winning Powerball ticket.
The lottery is also looking for two winners who bought Bonus Match 5 tickets in Anne Arundel and St. Mary’s counties.
Because of a special promotion, those winners will recieve $50,000 with taxes paid, the lottery says.
The winning tickets were purchased at 7-Eleven, 3393 Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel, and at Donut Connection, 21800 North Shangri La Drive in Lexington Park.
Bonus Match 5 drawings occur daily in Maryland. Multi-state Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
