WASHINGTON – Some women spend a small fortune on their handbags. Now, a new device could keep purses safe from thieves and from spilling over in the car.
It’s called the Handbag Handcuff.
Its creator Beth Corets came up with the idea after slamming on her brakes to avoid a stopped car in front of her and seeing everything fly off the seat.
The device handcuffs your handbag to the seat of your car. The company says it’s good for keeping it from becoming a projectile in traffic and great for stopping thieves from taking that pricey Coach or Michael Kors from your car, stroller or shopping cart.
The Handbag Handcuff costs $42 online.
