WASHINGTON – Known for offering one of the best views of the District, P.O.V at the W Hotel is after another niche: live rooftop concerts.
On Tuesday, Oct. 22, P.O.V. will host the newly buzzworthy band, The Tontons, for a free concert with a view.
The Houston-based soulful indie rock band was recently named one of Paste Magazine’s top 15 bands to look for at CMJ, a five- day music festival in New York that showcases up-and-coming artists.
This is not the first time P.O.V has offered live music. In August, the 11th-floor bar hosted Eastern Sea and plans to make the live shows a more regular occurrence.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m., the show starts at 8:30 p.m. An RSVP to the free event is required with an email to whappenings@brandlinkdcrsvp.com. P.O.V at the W is located at 515 15th St. in Northwest D.C.
