WASHINGTON – Three men face first- and second-degree murder charges in last week’s shooting that killed an employee at Clarion Hotel in Oxon Hill, Md.
Prince George’s County police announced the arrests in the shooting death of Jesse Chavez, 27, of Fort Washington, Md., at a news conference.
Police have identified the gunman as 20-year-old Deandre Weems.

Police said the murder weapon and getaway car have been recovered.
They are looking into whether Deandre Weems, 20, Kimfrey Williams, 23, and Rinaldo Savon Washington, 18, are responsible for additional robberies.

The arrests come one week after Chavez was shot and killed and after police released surveillance video from the hotel.
A tipster who called Crime Solvers is now eligible for a reward of up to $25,000.
