WASHINGTON – Have you ever wondered what foxes say?
Norwegian duo Ylvis tackle that difficult question in their end-of-summer YouTube hit, “The Fox.”
It has already racked up more than 11 million views since surfacing last week, and is drawing comparisons to “Gangnam Style” thanks to its elaborate, yet somewhat ridiculous, production.
The surreal video features a menagerie of household animals, all with distinct sounds and call. The fox cry, however, remains elusive.
“Dog goes woof, cat goes meow, bird goes tweet … But there’s one sound that no one knows. What does the fox say?”
