WASHINGTON – D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray is expected to announce Thursday a deal to build a new stadium for D.C. United, the Washington Business Journal is reporting.
The stadium is expected to be in Southwest D.C. and the deal would involve a land swap with a least one District-owned building in the heart of the city.
The professional soccer team currently plays at RFK Stadium.
