WASHINGTON – Police have identified the man found dead in a Gaithersburg, Md., pond over the weekend.
Montgomery County police say they pulled the body of 25-year-old Matthew Baker, a Gaithersburg resident, out of Mike Missile Park on Sunday and are calling his death suspicious. Police are working with the Chief Medical Examiner to determine how Baker died.

WASHINGTON – A body has been found in a pond in Gaithersburg, Md., and Montgomery County police are calling it a suspicious death.
Police were called to a pond near the entrance of Nike Missile Park in the the 8500 block of Snouffer School Road at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday after someone reported seeing a body in the water. Police and fire/rescue workers recovered the body of a man.
Montgomery County police say Maryland-National Capital Park Police also had been called to the pond on Friday night after someone reported finding clothes near the pond. Officials are working to see whether the two incidents are related.
Police have released photos of the clothes found near the park Friday, as well as photos of the tattoos found on the man recovered from the pond. See them in the gallery to the right.
