WASHINGTON – Virginia gubernatorial candidates Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Ken Cuccinelli face off in their first debate 11 a.m. Saturday at the Homestead in Hot Springs, Va.
PBS anchor Judy Woodruff will moderate the debate between the candidates, who are in a tight race to replace outgoing Gov. Bob McDonnell.
A recent Quinnipiac University poll found McAuliffe holding a slight lead over Cuccinelli, thanks largely to the support of women.
