WASHINGTON – Break out the tissues. For four million allergy sufferers, it’s officially allergy season — and USA TODAY reports this year’s season could be the worst one yet.
Dr. Stanley Fineman of the Atlanta Allergy and Asthma Clinic tells USA TODAY that late January’s high pollen count contributes to the severity of this season’s allergies.
Those who suffer from allergies should clean air-conditioning filters regularly, keep car and house windows closed and take frequent showers to keep suffering to a minimum.
