WASHINGTON – Stafford County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men in connection with the murder of a man whose remains were found March 21.
The Sheriff’s office identified the remains as Jason Plaster, a resident of Stafford County. The 31-year-old was reported missing by his family in July 2007.
Sherrif’s deputies arrested William Joseph Hughes, 44, of Stafford and Stuart Lee Sullivan, 49, of Fredericksburg.
Both men have been charged with one count of first degree murder and one count of the use of a firearm in the commission of a felon.
They are being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
