WASHINGTON – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Frederick, Md. from 1 a.m. to noon Tuesday.
Hagerstown and Westminster in Maryland are also included in the advisory.
There could be accumulations of up to 2 inches of snow along the Mason-Dixon line.
Between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. there could be a mix of rain and snow, changing to just snow and continuing through late morning. Temperatures will be in the low 30s to upper 30s with northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Roads may be slick with slush, especially at higher elevations and will cause travel difficulties. People in those areas should be prepared for snow and use caution while driving due to limited visibility.
