WASHINGTON – There’s another new transportation option in the region, and this one is all about the nightlife.
Whether they’ve had one too many or their high heels are killing them, bar hoppers around town can avoid walking to Metro or paying expensive cab fares using The DC Hopper.
The shuttle stops are in central locations in Bethesda, Georgetown and Dupont Circle, and a one-way trip costs between $15 and $26.
The shuttle also offers riders perks by partnering with bars near the drop-off spots so passengers get deals, such as discounts on cover charges.
Riders can pay with their phones or credit cards.
The first pickup is at 8 p.m. and the last is at 4 a.m.
