WASHINGTON – The Metropolitan Police Department needs help locating a man police say forced his way into a woman’s apartment on Friday, Oct. 26. The suspect attempted to sexually assault the woman and stabbed her several times.
The suspect knocked on the victim’s door shortly before 2 p.m. Oct. 26 on the 2300 block of Washington Place in Northeast, according to a news release. The woman began to open the door when the suspect forced his way in and tried to assault her sexually.
A struggle ensued and the suspect stabbed the woman several times before fleeing, police say.
