WASHINGTON – The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project reports that work will continue tonight to install the pedestrian bridge serving the south side of Wiehle-Reston East Station.
Expect the following closures to occur between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31 through Thursday, Nov. 1 (all times are approximate):
8 p.m.
Eastbound Dulles Toll Road: Far left lane closed near Centreville Road and at Wiehle Avenue.
9 p.m.
Eastbound Dulles Access Highway: Full closure between Centreville Road and Wiehle Avenue. Detour: Traffic can merge onto the toll road at the slip ramp located near Centreville Road. Police will be present at this location to direct traffic and ensure motorist safety. Tolls will be collected.
11 p.m.
Eastbound Dulles Toll Road: Full closure at Wiehle Avenue. Detour: All eastbound toll road traffic will exit at the Wiehle Avenue exit ramp, cross over the ramp and re-enter the eastbound toll road. Police will be present at this location to direct traffic and ensure motorist safety.
5 a.m.
All roads and ramps reopen.
