WASHINGTON – Looks like RGIII is getting to know his new hometown … sort of.
An NFL video posted on YouTube shows the rookie Redskins QB and potential franchise savior taking a bus tour of D.C. and playing the role of guide, somewhat unsuccessfully. Griffin (perhaps partially thanks to one of his companions in the video) confuses the Jefferson and Lincoln memorials, but does accurately point out the construction that’s quickly becoming a landmark on the National Mall, as well as the White House.
Hanging out in the open top of the bus, RGIII also successfully dodges trees that threaten to derail the hopes of Redskins fans everywhere before the season even starts. And he likely makes the day of two joggers near the Lincoln when he falls into stride beside them.
