WASHINGTON – During his visit to Poland, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney ignored reporters’ questions about his recent comments on Palestinians and Israel.
His traveling press secretary, Rick Gorka, didn’t exactly do the same.
After reporters shouted questions to Romney while the candidate was walking toward his vehicle from Poland’s Pilsudski Square — the site of the country’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier — Politico reports Gorka told at least one reporter to “kiss my ass.”
“This is a holy site for the Polish people,” Gorka said. “Show some respect.”
Gorka also told a reporter to “shove it,” various outlets say. Politico reports he called two reporters later to apologize.
