WASHINGTON – Former D.C. Council Chairman Kwame Brown has been charged by prosecutors in D.C. Superior Court with a campaign finance violation, a day after federal prosecutors filed a bank fraud charge against him.
The new charge was filed by prosecutors Thursday and relates to Brown’s 2008 reelection campaign.
