WASHINGTON – Unwinding after a long day can be tough, but there’s a new way to get some shut-eye.
Dream Water is a non-alcoholic sleep-aid that boasts a collection of nap-inducing ingredients including melatonin.
“You’ll drink it, and within 20 to 40 minutes, you just gently start feeling tired and then you drift to sleep,” says inventor Vincent Porpiglia.
Porpuglia also says there’s an advantage to not having to wait for a pill to dissolve.
“Ambien doesn’t work for everyone, Tylenol PM doesn’t work for everyone,” says Porpiglia. “I saw a void and I had problems sleeping nothing filled that void.”
The drink is considered a supplement and can be sold over the counter without FDA approval.
