WASHINGTON – Fairfax County Police have released a composite sketch of a possible suspect in the March 19 assault of a high school student.
The suspect is described as a thin, tall white male, 20-40 years of age, around 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds with dark hair. He was wearing a light colored shirt and blue/gray shorts.
Police believe he escaped in an early 2000 model Honda Accord or Civic.
The suspect attacked a 16-year-old girl who was walking home on Pickett Road around 4 p.m. from Woodson High School, police say.
The man approached the girl from behind, grabbed her neck and assaulted her. The girl was knocked to the ground after a brief altercation and the assailant fled the scene. The girl screamed and ran for help.
