WASHINGTON – Very few tributes involve this much dedication.
A 90-year-old grandmother has captured her feelings on the death of singer Whitney Houston through her own performance. Despite legal blindness from severe macular degeneration and a steel hip replacement, this fan still manages to do the music justice through a dance.
“I’m doing this in the memory of the late Whitney Houston,” she says in the YouTube video made by her grandson Adam Forgie. “It’s very hard to think of her as being gone.”
“She was one of a kind, and wonderful, and you just enjoyed every minute she was singing no matter what she sang.”
The persona of Forgie’s grandmother is lively enough to merit her own Facebook page and Twitter account.
