WASHINGTON – When is the last time you washed your salt and pepper shakers? Do you ever wash them?
Everyone touches them, and they are crawling with microorganisms.
There is an easy way to get them clean though. Put a dab of alcohol-based santizing gel on your hands and rub it over the shakers. Let them air dry, and any viruses should be destroyed in about 2 minutes.
