WASHINGTON – Aerosmith’s “Rag Doll” takes on a whole new meaning now that lead singer Steven Tyler is available as a Cabbage Patch Doll.
Website Ultimate Classic Rock reports that Tyler is among five celebrities who have been recreated into a one-of-a-kind Cabbage Patch Kid.
Other celebrities participating are Al Roker, Katherine Heigl, Kristin Chenoweth and Raven Symone.
The look-sort-of-like-a-famous-person-dolls are being auctioned off on ebay, with bids accepted through Nov. 17.
The proceeds will benefit the Children’s Action Network, a national adoption awareness organization that helps find homes for children in foster care. November is National Adoption Awareness Month.
Tyler’s doll is wearing a a rocker-inspired outfit and includes a mic stand. Toy manufacturer JAKKS Pacific worked closely with each celebrity to make sure their doll embodied their look and personality.
By Tuesday afternoon, Tyler’s doll had garnered the highest bids at $620, while Symone’s doll had reached $111.
