DDOT will close the northbound lanes of I-295/DC 295 from 11th Street SE to Pennsylvania Avenue SE overnight tonight and tomorrow night (10 p.m. Nov. 30 to 5 a.m. Dec. 1, and again from 10 p.m. Dec. 1 through 5 a.m. Dec. 2.) This closing is so DDOT can erect girders on a new bridge over the Anacostia Freeway.
If you are traveling northbound on I-295 you will be diverted onto the 11th Street Bridge heading towards 395. Southbound lanes are not affected.
