Police: Road-rage incident led to stabbing in Delaware

LAUREL, Del. — Police in Delaware say that a man has been arrested for a stabbing following a road-rage incident.

The News Journal reports that Delaware State Police said the man was arrested Friday.

The incident occurred in the southern Delaware town of Laurel. Police said that Eric Bailey had stabbed a man with a knife “in his lower extremity.”

The victim left the scene and went to an area hospital for treatment. Police said that Bailey was charged with felony assault and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.

He was sent to jail on $40,000 secured bond. It’s unclear if he has hired an attorney.
