WASHINGTON — The Spice Girls are planning a reunion tour to mark 20 years since releasing their first hit, but Victoria Beckham will be sitting it out.

The group released “Wannabe” in 1996, and will launch an international tour next year, according to The Sun and The Daily Mail, but Posh won’t be joining Scary, Sporty, Ginger, and Baby.

A source tells the Daily Mail “Victoria loved her time as a Spice Girl and wishes the girls nothing but success & happiness however she is now too busy running her brand and fulfilling the needs of her family.”

Beckham is currently a fashion designer. She and husband David Beckham have four children.

According to the reports, the door is open for Beckham to join Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton on tour, if she changes her mind.

That’s unlikely, an unnamed source told The Sun: “Victoria wishes the girls the best of luck. She knows the reunion is on but has declined to be involved.”

Beckham tweeted her support for the reunion tour, without her.

The band’s last performance was in 2012, at the Olympics, when performed a medley of “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life.”

All five women participated in a reunion tour in 2007-2008.
