WASHINGTON — Police have arrested a fourth suspect Wednesday in connection to the Feb. 10 fatal shooting in Montgomery County, Maryland.
A shooting in Montgomery Village killed Wassi Harron Raheem Young, 20, of Hyattsville. He was shot around 2 p.m. on Feb. 10 in the 8500 block of Hawk Run Terrace and died in the parking lot of the neighborhood.
Montgomery County police said Shiloh Young, 18, of Baltimore, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. He is being held without bond.
Three other suspects were arrested in March and also charged with first-degree murder:
- Davion Antonio Foster, 20, of Southeast D.C.;
- Samuel Fayomi Brown, 20, of Hyattsville;
- Tierek Ty Jay Thomas, 20, of Northwest D.C.
At the time, another man, 23, had also been shot in the same incident as Wassi Young and went to a hospital with wounds that were not life-threatening, according to detectives.
The four suspects and Wassi Young wanted to rob a drug seller, detectives said, and contacted various dealers. The seller who agreed to meet them at Hawk Run Terrace was the 23-year-old man who was later also shot. They had attempted to rob him at gunpoint. The shots fired hit the seller and Wassi Young, killing the latter.
Police said Shiloh Young has also been charged Tuesday with armed robbery, first-degree assault and theft offenses in connection to a March 1 armed robbery that happened in Gaithersburg.
