WASHINGTON — This year marked the 50th anniversary of the Country Music Association Awards, which aired Wednesday night on ABC from Nashville, Tennessee.

Country music superstars Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley hosted the event, celebrating the past 50 years in the genre. Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, Reba and many more artists had performed throughout the night.
