BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore health officials are responding to a suspected increase in sleep-related infant deaths.
Baltimore City Health Commissioner Leana Wen will join city health officials on Wednesday to talk about the problem.
They say sleep-related infant deaths are the second-leading cause of infant mortality in the city. It’s second to complications related to preterm birth and low birth weight.
