TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Baltimore County police have charged a former Parkville man with killing his wife in 2006.
The department said in a news release that 56-year-old Michael Amick was arrested last week and charged with first-degree murder in the death of 40-year-old Roxanne Stitz Amick.
Officers say Michael Amick told police his wife left their home on Sept. 13, 2006, after an argument and didn’t return. Police say Roxanne Amick’s body was found two days later in a wooded area near Belair Road and Perry Hall Road.
Authorities say current DNA technology identified Michael Amick’s DNA in a work glove found in the car Rozanne Amick was last seen in.
Amick is being held without bond. His lawyer did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
