WASHINGTON — A man who inappropriately touched a 6-year-old girl inside a store in Maryland last week may have assaulted another child, police say.
Investigators think the same man who touched a little girl Friday, June 12 inside a Prince George’s County CVS store attacked another 6-year-old girl on Thursday.
In the second incident, the man entered a restroom of the Beltway Plaza Mall on Greenbelt Road about 7 p.m. Thursday and touched the girl before she was able to yell for help from her mother, City of Greenbelt police say.
The other child was attacked about 8 p.m. June 12 in the CVS store on the 5700 block of Riverdale Road.
Police say the person of interest is described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old, five feet, nine inches tall and 160-170 pounds. He wore large black earrings at the time of the incident, police say.
