WASHINGTON — Police say they are investigating a shooting along the Baltimore-Washington Parkway Thursday night.
U.S. Park Police spokeswoman Lelani Woods tells WTOP two people were shot inside a vehicle around 9:45 p.m. and taken to a local hospital. Both victims are in stable condition.
The Baltimore-Washington Parkway was blocked northbound from New York Avenue and D.C. 295 to the Beltway for a few hours overnight, but reopened by 2:30 a.m.
No additional details have been released about the shooting.
