WASHINGTON — It may be the ultimate test of one’s will, but unplugging may just might feel better than you’d expect.
March 6-7 is the National Day of Unplugging.
Launched six years ago by the national nonprofit group Reboot, participants are asked to put away their smartphones, tablets, laptops and other devices from sunset Friday March 6 until sunset March 7.
Says Reboot, “We increasingly miss out on the important moments of our lives as we pass the hours with our noses buried in our iPhones and BlackBerry’s, chronicling our every move through Facebook and Twitter and shielding ourselves from the outside world with the bubble of ‘silence’ that our earphones create.
