WASHINGTON — Police arrested a 29-year-old Springfield, Virginia, man on charges of aggravated sexual battery of a child.

A 6-year-old girl told an adult on Saturday that Renzo Martin Garcia Davila, 29, had touched her inappropriately. Fairfax County police investigated and arrested Davila at his home Sunday.

Davila worked as a martial arts instructor at Lead by Example on Huntsman Boulevard in Springfield and at The Montessori School of Fairfax on Lees Corner Road in Chantilly. Also, he coached soccer for the Springfield South County Youth Club.

“At some point in the past, we haven’t confirmed this yet, he may have also been a soccer coach for a period of time at one of the high schools in the county,” Don Gotthardt with Fairfax County Police told WTOP.

Police believe that Davila, commonly known as “Garcia,” may have other victims, and they want anyone with information to call 703-246-3086.
