FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) — Fairfax County Police say Animal Protection Police removed 82 cats from a 52-year-old man’s home on Westmoreland Road in Falls Church.

The department said in a news release that the cats, plus five dead cats, were removed from the home in the 7200 block on Saturday. Officials say Animal Protection received a tip from an investigator with the Department of Code Compliance.
