WASHINGTON — Washington Nationals right fielder Bryce Harper put down the baseball glove and took on a different kind of game Monday night, appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” alongside “Saturday Night Live” alumnus Andy Samberg and international supermodel Gigi Hadid.

The four played the party game Catchphrase; Harper was partnered with show host Fallon for a bit of fast-paced banter.

Harper’s competitive nature came out before the game. Samberg tried to make peace, saying that he didn’t really care who won. In response, Hadid and Harper each replied, “I do.”

Harper came across a bit of trouble when Fallon gave the clue “the big dance at the end of high school” trying to lead Harper to the answer “prom queen.” Harper struggled to come up with the response, saying, “I didn’t go to high school so I wouldn’t know anyways.”

Who came out on top in the friendly competition?
