Suspects attack person inside DC home, take property and puppy

Suspects broke into an occupied Southwest D.C. home and assaulted the person inside before taking some property, including a puppy, the police said Friday.

It happened around 7 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of Irvington Street. Police said the suspects forced their way in and brandished a gun.

The dog is a 5-week old male American bulldog named Deemo. It is brown with grey eczema patches.



Police are looking for the suspects, one of whom was captured by a nearby surveillance camera.
