WASHINGTON — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car in Northwest D.C. early Friday morning.
D.C. police say a male was hit in the 1300 block of Massachusetts Avenue NW, near Thomas Circle, at around 1:30 a.m. They haven’t said whether he was an adult.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver who struck the pedestrian stayed at the scene after the crash.
Police have not said what may have caused the crash.
The 1300 block of Massachusetts Avenue Northwest was closed for almost four hours while police investigated.
