WASHINGTON — A man was taken into police custody last week for bathing in a popular D.C. landmark’s fountain.
D.C. police say they received a call about a nude man in the Library of Congress’ fountain, located at 10 First Street in Southeast at about 9:20 p.m. on Oct. 1.
When police responded, they found the naked man bathing in the popular Neptune Fountain outside the Library of Congress, according to the police report. He was fully exposed.
The man, whose name has not been released, was charged with indecent exposure.
