WASHINGTON – A 14-year-old has been arrested in connection with a January attack on a Metrobus operator.
The teen was arrested Tuesday on assault with a dangerous weapon charges for allegedly attacking the operator with a Taser, according to a Metro news release. The bus was at Nicholson Street and 6th Street, Northeast, at the time of the Jan. 30 attack.
The teen allegedly used a Taser on a bus operator’s right arm without provocation. Metro says the operator was taken to a hospital after the incident.
Video evidence from aboard the bus was used to identify the suspect on the E4 bus. His name is being withheld because of his age.
