WASHINGTON — A rainy Tuesday in D.C. made for a nice habitat for a mother duck and her ducklings found waddling in Northwest.
Umbrella-clad passers-by saw a duck and six ducklings at 17th and L streets in Northwest Tuesday afternoon, according to The Washington Post.
It’s not clear where the duck came from, but pedestrians corralled the birds away from the street and into a grassy area in the neighborhood, The Post reports.

Ducks were also seen on the lawn of the White House Tuesday. It’s not clear if the White House ducks were the same ones spotted on L Street.
