MARC Brunswick service resumes

WASHINGTON — MARC service is operating again on the Brunswick Line after a downed tree on the tracks between the Brunswick station and the Point of Rocks station shut down service Monday morning.

During the shutdown, all trains were effected except for Frederick trains, which operated normally.

Metro accepted Brunswick Line MARC tickets Monday.

On Virginia Railway Express, flooding is causing problems for trains. Some are delayed up to 25 minutes.
