Red Line trains resume normal service after unscheduled repairs

WASHINGTON – Trains on the Red Line are no longer single tracking between Van Ness and Dupont Circle.

Metro crews made unscheduled repairs after an arcing insulator outside the Dupont Circle Station temporarily halted train traffic this morning.

Service was suspended for about 30 minutes. Trains single tracked along the Northwest D.C. stretch until 3 p.m.
