Lyft’s DC hotspots: Where the ride-hailing service drops off the most

WASHINGTON — Ride-hailing company Lyft is out with its list of top drop-off destinations.

The third annual “Lyfties Awards” names Busboys and Poets at 5th and K streets in Northwest D.C. as the top restaurant drop-off destination in the District.

The awards, based on passenger drop-off data from across the country, determine riders’ most popular destinations in 32 markets.

Lyft does not provide specific numbers and bases the awards on drop-offs only, not on pick-ups.

Other Lyfties Award winners in the District for most drop-offs this year:

  • Most Visited Bar: Nellie’s Sports Bar
  • Most Visited Event Space: Walter E. Washington Convention Center
  • Most Visited University: Georgetown University
  • Trending Destination: MGM National Harbor

In Baltimore, the most-visited restaurant was R. House, the most-visited bar was Max’s Taphouse and the most-visited event venue was Royal Farms Arena.

Lyft said the most popular restaurant in the nation, based on Lyft drop-offs, is Souvla San Francisco, in San Francisco. The nation’s most Lyft-visited bar is Good Times at Davy Wayne’s in Los Angeles.
