‘Hire Loudoun’ job fair to cast net for local talent in tech

WASHINGTON — The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with dozens of employers in the Virginia county for a one-stop jobs fair aimed at keeping D.C.-area technology talent locally employed.

The “Hire Loudoun” jobs fair is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25 at the Northern Virginia Community College in Sterling, Virginia.

“We are putting a new spin on the job fair. The goal of this event is to bring Loudoun’s workforce home,” said Buddy Rizer, Loudoun County economic development executive director.

“We have some of the most educated and accomplished residents in the nation, and we’d like to keep our talented labor pool working here in Loudoun,” he said.

The jobs fair is open to all area residents.

Potential employers will be interviewing people for positions that require tech-related college degrees or IT experience.
