WASHINGTON — Police are mobilizing in Baltimore after a gun went off during an arrest near the epicenter of last week’s riots.
Baltimore Police say officers arrested a man with a gun near the intersection of Pennsylvania and North avenues. The Baltimore Sun reports that during the arrest, the gun fell and discharged. Nobody was injured, according to police.
Commander at the scene confirms it was a shooting. Man had a gun, police tried to arrest him, it fell and went off, he says.
