Anne Arundel County police say the man whose image is captured on surveillance video pulled a gun and demanded money, but ran away before the bank teller could comply.

It happened about 3:15 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Navy Federal Credit Union near Richie Highway and East Ordnance Road.

The man who tried to rob the bank is described as white in his mid-20s with a medium build.  He has a tattoo on the back of his right hand and possibly under one of his eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Robbery Unit at 410-222-4720.

Information that leads to the attempted robber’s conviction can earn up to $5,000 from the Maryland Association for Bank Security, as well as $2,000 from Metro Crime Stoppers. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
