WASHINGTON — Police are searching for several suspects who they say stole a woman’s credit card at an Alexandria-area Costco.
On Saturday, Feb. 13, a woman was shopping at the Costco located at 7940 Richmond Highway when her purse was taken from her shopping cart while another suspect distracted her by engaging her in conversation.
The victim’s credit card was used a short time later at the Target located at 3101 Jefferson Davis Highway.
Officials say similar cases have occurred through Fairfax County. It is not known if the suspects involved in the Costco larceny are connected with any other crimes.
