Drone video provides a haunting perspective on Auschwitz

WASHINGTON — As part of the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the BBC flew a drone camera in, around and over the remains of the Nazi death camp.

Mic.com says the camera shows the railroad tracks leading into the camp, the slave-labor prison blocks and the huts where prisoners were executed.

It’s horrific and haunting, but it provides an unusual perspective on just how huge the camp in southern Poland was.
