Casting call seeks ‘real Nats fans’ for commercial

WASHINGTON — A casting company in the D.C. area is seeking “real Nats fans” to be featured in a spot for the Washington Nationals.

The casting notice from Falls Church, Virginia-based Carlyn Davis Casting calls for male and female Nats fans of any ethnicity from age 14 to 70.

To be considered, fans should send a photo — a selfe is OK — with “Nats Fan Casting” in the subject of email to suzanne@carlyndaviscasting.com.

And be prepared to prove your Natitude. Submissions should include answers to the following questions:

  • How long have you been a Nats fan?
  • How often and how do you watch Nats games?
  • Who is your favorite player?
  • What is your profession?

The casting service is seeking people only in the Virginia, D.C. and Maryland area. Casting agents need to receive submissions by 12 p.m. on March 10.

The shoot will take place in the D.C. area on March 17, according to the casting notice.

No word on how many people are being sought or whether the spot will be a TV commercial or web video or promotional feature. WTOP has reached out to the casting company.
