Va. man possessed child porn, took ‘creeper’ pictures of women, police say

WASHINGTON — A Fairfax County, Virginia, man has been charged with possession of child pornography, and detectives say he also has stalked unsuspecting women, taken revealing pictures of them and shared the pictures on social media.

Matthew Bishop, 37, of Chantilly, Virginia, is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says Bishop used his Twitter accounts, including “NOVA Creeper,” to send direct messages containing child porn to another person.

Detectives with the sheriff’s office say Bishop took dozens of pictures of women’s backsides and chests and posted them on his Twitter account, NBC Washington reports.

The Giant food store in the Greenbriar Shopping Center, in Chantilly, was one of Bishop’s favorite stalking grounds, NBC Washington says.

The Twitter account also showed images of teenagers and children. Investigators are still figuring out whether those Twitter posts were lawful.

Bishop has been released on bond.  But the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says more charges are likely in this case.
